Welcome to Trimax Mowing Systems (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. Privacy & Data Protection
- Your privacy is important to us. Any personal data you provide will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with applicable global data protection laws including GDPR. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to the collection and use of your information as outlined in that policy.

- By using our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental consent.
- You agree not to misuse our website, including engaging in fraudulent activities, violating laws, or attempting to compromise security.
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue our services at any time without prior notice.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the website, and we reserve the right to suspend or modify its availability without liability.
3. Pricing & Payments
- All prices are displayed in the local currency corresponding to the visitor's web domain (GBP, EUR, USD, AUD, or NZD) and are subject to change without notice.
- We accept credit and debit cards for a secure and convenient checkout experience. By making a purchase, you confirm that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.
- Taxes and shipping fees (if applicable) will be calculated at checkout. Customers located outside Trimax’s primary operating markets are responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, and fees upon delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, regions such as Northern Ireland and Canada.
- In the event of a pricing or typographical error, we reserve the right to cancel or revise any orders, including after the order has been confirmed. If payment has been made, a full refund will be issued where applicable.
- By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have reviewed the full product description, total cost (including shipping and applicable taxes), and your right to cancel, in accordance with local consumer protection regulations
4. Inventory Status and Stock Availability
- Dispatch timeframes are business days only and do not include weekends.
- Dispatch timeframes are estimations and are additional to shipping timeframes, more info on shipping can be found below.
- Dispatch timeframes apply to standard orders and may change for bulk or stocking orders.
- Inventory levels are updated on a regular basis and are subject to movement. If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed you will be contacted to arrange an alternative suitable option (e.g., refund, backorder).
5. Shipping & Delivery
- Estimated delivery times vary based on location and selected shipping method.
- Shipping costs will be displayed at checkout.
- We are not liable for delays caused by carriers or external factors.
- If your order is lost or damaged during transit, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible through the methods listed on our contact us page.

6. Returns & Refunds
6.1 Eligibility for Returns
- Returns must be requested within 30 days of the original purchase or delivery date, whichever is later.
- Items must be unused, returned in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.
- Some products, including custom-made, special-order, or clearance items, may not be eligible for return. This will be clearly stated at the point of sale.
- A valid proof of purchase (such as an invoice or order confirmation) is required for all returns.
6.2 Return Process
- Please contact us in advance to confirm return eligibility and to receive return instructions.
- Returns must be shipped to the address provided during the return process.
- We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method for all returns, the sender bears the risk of loss or damage in transit.
6.3 Cost of Returns
- Consumers: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, not as described, or the return is due to our error.
- Business and Trade Customers: Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility in all cases—including exchanges or unwanted items—unless the item is faulty, not as described, or the return results from our error.
6.4 Inspection & Refunds
- Once the returned item is received and inspected, we aim to process refunds within 5 business days, and no later than 14 calendar days, in accordance with applicable consumer legislation (UK and EU).
6.5 Refund Terms
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
- UK and EU Consumer: You have the right to cancel most online purchases within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, as per applicable consumer protection legislation.
- Business and Trade Customers: Returns received after 30 days may be subject to a 10% restocking fee, unless otherwise agreed or where prohibited by law.
- Custom-made or made-to-order items (e.g., specially manufactured parts for legacy or specific equipment) are non-refundable, except where faulty or not as described. This will be clearly indicated prior to purchase.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
*A consumer customer is an individual purchasing for personal use; a trade or business customer is any entity or individual buying on behalf of a business, including those providing a registered business name or number at checkout.
7. Warranty & Customer Support
- All Trimax parts—excluding consumables, wear parts, and items specifically excluded under the Trimax Warranty Policy—are covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials, workmanship, or design, when installed by a Trimax-trained technician.
- If the part is installed by an individual who is not Trimax-trained, the warranty is limited to 6 months, parts only, and does not cover labor costs.

8. Dealer & Reseller Policy
- We sell directly to consumers while maintaining relationships with authorized dealers.
- Unauthorized resellers are not permitted to distribute our products.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to any dealer or reseller violating our policies.
9. Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products.
- Product installation and usage are the responsibility of the buyer. Always follow manufacturer safety guidelines.
- Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

- We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the website or email where appropriate. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms

Trimax Mowing Systems owns and operates websites and mobile apps which are referred to in this Privacy Policy as a “Service” or “Services.” Together with the Terms and Conditions, this Privacy Policy governs Trimax’s relationship with you in relation to the Services.
In this Privacy Policy, “Trimax Mowing Systems,” “Trimax,” “us,” “our” or “we” refers to the owner of the Services, whose registered headquarters office is 70 Maleme Street, Tauranga, New Zealand. “You” or “your” refers to the Services user.

Most of the Personal Data that Trimax collects is provided directly by the user of Trimax Services. Trimax collects the information you provide when you register for an account for any of Trimax’s Services, enter any information, communicate with Trimax, respond to Trimax surveys, upload content through Trimax Services, or otherwise use Trimax Services.
Trimax may ask you to provide Personal Data when you register for an account with Trimax Services, download a catalogue, respond to a job application, email an offer, participate in community forums, engage with Trimax on social media, take part in training and events held by or involving Trimax, contact Trimax with questions, purchase Trimax products, or request support from Trimax.
If you do not agree to provide your Personal Data, you may be unable to use certain Trimax Services.

Trimax may also use your Personal Data where we have a legal obligation to process and/or retain the information. Such legal obligations are not overridden by your rights.
If you have applied for employment with Trimax, the Personal Data submitted with your job application will generally be used for recruitment and other internal human resources purposes.
Trimax does not use the Personal Data we collect as a source for unsolicited emails or unsolicited postal mail. Trimax will not use your Personal Data to send you marketing or promotional material unless you have specifically consented to this.

We may share or disclose your Personal Data with authorized dealers, distributors, merchants and business partners. For example, we may disclose your information to an authorized Trimax dealership to administer your relationship with Trimax, including assistance with obtaining quotes, purchasing equipment or services, ordering parts, managing products and services, and warranty service.
If you are an employee or representative of a customer or dealer, we share or disclose your Personal Data with said customer or dealer.
We share Personal Data with third party service providers (commonly referred to as “data processors”) to fulfill the purposes in this Privacy Policy on our behalf. These include data management and storage services and other business support services such as mailing vendors.
We also share or disclose Personal Data with third party companies to perform specialized or professional functions for us (commonly referred to as “data controllers”). These include financial institutions, shipping companies, and other parties which support auditing, compliance and corporate governance functions.
Trimax Services contain plugins or third-party content such as social media connections. If you are logged in to a social media service while using a Trimax Service, the social media plugins may allow the social media platform to receive information on your use of the Trimax Services and link it to your social media account.

Due to the global nature of our operations, some of the recipients of your Personal Data as mentioned in Section E of this Privacy Policy may be located in countries outside of your area of regulation.
